Bhubaneswar – Puri – Chilika – Konark – Sambalpur – Bhubaneswar
Arrival and departure:- Bhubaneshwar
Day 01: Arrival at Bhubaneswar
On arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport /Railway station transfer to hotel .If time permits visit to Tribal museum ( closed on Monday ), Udaigiri & Khandagiri caves meant for jaina monastics dated to 1st Century BC. Back to hotel. Overnight in Bhubaneswar .
Day 02: Bhubaneswar – Puri
Drive to Puri .Enroute visit to Dhauli famous for its (Peace Pagoda & Asokan rock edict) ,Pipli for its ( applique village) , Raghurajpur ( Artisans Village ) . On arrival at Puri check into the hotel .In the evening visit to Golden Beach for relaxa tion .Back to hotel. Overnight in Puri.
Day 03: Puri- Chilika lake at Satpada – Puri
Early morning visit to Lord Jagannath Temple to pay homage to lord of universe ( Non Hindus are not allowed inside the temple premises ). later on drive to Chilika lake at Satpada famous for its largest brackish water lake in Asia .Take a boat cruise to get a glimpse of beautiful Irrawaddy dolphins ( Pay there directly) .Back to Puri .Overnight in Puri .
Day 04: Puri- Sun Temple at Konark- Bhubaneswar
Drive to Konark famous for its Sun Temple which is now a World Heritage monument, Konark Museum (closed on Friday). Enroute visit to Ramchandi Temple. Visit to Chandrabhaga Beach for relaxation. Later drive down to Bhubaneswar and connect the train to Sambalpur. Overnight train. (20:20 Boarding time)
Day 05: In & around Sambalpur
It is the place famous for Sambalpuri Sarri (Ikat design) and Samaleswari Temple.
Arrival transfer to the hotel. After refreshment can be visited weavers family to buy and witness traditional weaving family and their various design work. In the afternoon you can visit Hirakud Dam and enjoy the beautiful scenic panoramic from the top. In the evening you can visit the city and Handlooms society. Overnight.
Day 06: Sambalpur- Leaning Temple Huma-Sambalpur
In the morning must visit Mata Samaleswari Temple at the river bank of Mahanadi. Having breakfast proceed to visit most interesting temple at Huma, Known as Leaning Temple. Overnight.
Day 07: Sambalpur-Bhubaneswar (08:40 Boarding time in the morning)
Afterbreakfast assistance on departure transfer to the Railway station for Bhubaneswar. Overnight
Day 08: Departure Transfer for onward journey.
Assistance for departure transfer to Bhubaneswar airport for onward journey.
